The cooperation between the Danish Pavilion and the Nordic Pavilion for the Venice Biennale 2009 is coordinated as a joint venture between the OCA and the Danish Arts Council. The commissioners of the project are OCA's Director, Marta Kuzma, and Christine Buhl Andersen, Chairperson of the The Danish Art Council's Committee for International Visual Arts. The project in its entirety is supported with funds allocated by the Danish Arts Council, FRAME Finnish Fund for Art Exchange, Moderna Museet, and the Office for Contemporary Art Norway. The Norwegian support for the Venice Biennial is provided by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs.

The Office for Contemporary Art Provides International Residencies for Norwegian artists, curators and critics abroad, including residencies at Capacete, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil, International Artist in Residency Programme at WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium, International Artist and Curatorial Studio Programmes (ISCP) New York, NY, International Studio Program Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, Germany, Platform China, Beijing, China, Platform Garanti, Istanbul, Turkey and Residency Berlin Mitte, Berlin, Germany. OCA accepts applications for these programmes.
