In 2010 OCA offers a three-month residency programme at Platform Garanti Istanbul, for an art critic, an artist working as writer, a curator or an artist, from 1 September until 30 November 2010. Applications are accepted from Norwegian citizens and international citizens residing in Norway. Applicants need to respond to the diversity of Istanbul and to an open engagement with other international artists and cultural producers from different disciplines. It is suggested that the applicants have no other engagements during the period of their stay. Please notice that the residency is not available for BA or MA students. Applications will be assessed by an International Jury appointed by OCA, together with a representative from Platform Garanti.
The residency programme is covered by 03–funding. 03–funds, also referred to by the MFA as 'Exchange with Countries in the South' is a support programme underwritten by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for enhancing collaboration in the contemporary art field with professionals and artists in the countries designated by the MFA.
In addition to the studio Grant OCA will provide accommodation, organized by Platform Garanti, and located within a close distance to the studio. OCA will also make available a travel Grant of 4 000 NOK and a monthly stipend of 8 000 NOK to cover living expenses.
OCA has implemented an online application system that should be used to apply for the International Studio Programme at Capacete Residency Programme.

Before submitting the Application Form, please ensure that all uploaded information is correct and all fields are completed.
Once an application is submitted, a receipt with the indication of a reference number will be generated on the screen and sent to the e-mail contact provided within the Application Form. This reference number will allow applicants to follow their application process and therefore should be confidential.
Additional visual material can also be sent to OCA by post. This is however limited to artists publications and artists books. All other material including portfolios should
be uploaded within the application form. Please specify if you wish your material to be returned and if this is the case please send a pre-posted envelope with the return address.
All submitted material should be identified in the outside of the envelope with both the applicant's name and the reference number provided in the online application. Please
