4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art
Curator: Peter Weibel
Moscow, Russia
23 September – 30 October 2011

Elmgreen & Dragset have been invited by the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art to restage their project Celebrity — The One & The Many (2010) originally produced for an exhibition at ZKM | Museum of Contemporary Art, Karlsruhe, Germany. Titled Rewriting Worlds, the exhibition explores the notion that 'art, as a sphere of human activities, gives individual artists the chance to convert their ideas into reality and "re-write" the world by means of their works'.
